Kirsty Gilks, one of our sales specialists flew out to visit Kefalonia in Spring. She was shown around many of our villas and has a few insights to share.
Spectacular Skala
We stayed in Villa Caterina and what a fantastically positioned villa it is. Sea views, privacy and a short walk into the main resort of Skala with it’s shops and restaurants, what more could you want?! For families or groups of 12 Villa Ilias is right next door!
Fabulous Fiskardo
Take a drive up to Fiskardo along the coastal road, it has the most stunning views (see featured image) and it has viewing points for you to stop and take panoramic pictures.
Lovely Lourdas
I was surprised when i visited Villa Xanthy that a villa can be that private whilst being mere metres from the beach and it’s fantastic fish restaurants. This was one of my definite favourites!!
Terrific Trapezaki
Our Trapezaki villas have a huge amount of outdoor space, perfect for children to play on. These two villas Trapezaki Bay Cottage & Trapezaki Queen Villa are located right next door to one another!
Amazing Argostoli
We spent an afternoon taking in the sights of the capital Argostoli (about 15 minutes drive from Spartia), we spotted a turtle swimming alongside us in the harbour and had delicious saganaki and chicken souvlaki in one of the many restaurants in the main square.
QUESTION – Would I return to Kefalonia for my own family holiday? MOST DEFINITELY
