Villa Les Tires

Over the years Villa Les Tires has become a firm favourite with Villa Select clients. Situated approximately 4 miles from Port de Pollensa, it commands breath-taking views across open countryside and the beautiful Bay of Pollensa towards Formentor in the distance. It offers peace and quiet, but with every amenity within a 10 minute drive and a variety of activities, for example some cycling in Majorca, right at your doorstep. Port de Pollensa is in one direction along the Bay, whilst a little closer is the old town of Alcudia with its old roman walls, shops, restaurants and beaches.

Villa Les Tires exterior:

The large 12 metre pool with steps takes pride of place to the front of this Pollensa Bay villa and is set amongst lawned gardens. There is an inviting front covered terrace complete with brick built barbecue. This area is designed for outside living and has dining facilities as well as a plentiful supply of outside furniture for relaxing under the sun. The owners have laid out an attractive seating area on the opposite side of the house. This provides plentiful shade and incorporates an old olive tree.

Villa Les Tires interior:

This Majorca family villa is entered directly into a comfortably furnished lounge with feature fireplace. To one side of the lounge is the first of the five air-conditioned bedrooms and this has an antique style double bed. On the opposite side of the lounge there is a most attractive shower room with WC, which boasts large walk-in shower. A door leads from the lounge towards the front of the property and the enormous dining/kitchen, which is very well fitted and comes complete with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and there is also a separate deep freeze.

In the kitchen also is to be found the flat screen TV with News and International channels, a DVD player and Sony Playstation 2 (please bring your own games). The long refectory table seats 10 with ease and there is a feature fireplace at one end of the room. A door leads from the kitchen onto the barbeque terrace.

An open sided staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor and the four remaining bedrooms. Here are two double bedrooms. One with windows to the front and pool view. Two pretty twin bedrooms, plus two further full bathrooms, which service this accommodation. For that private sun bathing there is also a small sun terrace on this level.

If you want to explore further afield from the villa then why not try some excellent sailing or cycling. Both come highly recommended. Mallorca is also famous for its bird watching and walking. In 2010 the Serra de Tramuntana was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, Cultural Landscape. The wine and gastronomy really has to be tried and appreciated. The windows do not have screens on them. It is best that when clients visit to keep the windows open and  the shutters closed. You should use plugins for the mosquito’s in the bedrooms. At night, use the air con to keep the rooms cold – which will ward off the mossies.

A complimentary cot & high chair is available if required – extra cots are £35 per week

Accessibility: Very spacious rooms and outdoor area. There is a downstairs bedroom but this is fitted with a standard size door frame. The downstairs bathroom has one step up into the shower. Please get in touch if you need any extra accessible items that we can source for your villa holiday (such as manual / electric wheelchairs, hoists etc).
