Villa Matagorda Beach is located in the popular area of Matagorda close to the commercial centre and beach. A variety of restaurants offer multiple options for you to decide where to eat. From traditional restaurants, offering typical local products and establishments specialized in national and international cuisine with dishes from around the world. There is a long sandy beach where sun beds and shades are available for hire. There is a reliable and inexpensive bus and taxi service allowing you to explore all areas easily.

Matagorda is also a great place for sporting enthusiasts, the promenade is popular with runners and cyclists as well as those just taking a stroll and it connects right through Puerto del Carmen one way and the other way to Playa Honda and Arrecife. Matagorda is considered a tasteful extension to Puerto del Carmen and offers you the best of both worlds. The surroundings offer you a quieter holiday with, the more lively resort of Puerto del Carmen, only a short 10 minute taxi ride away. The popular marina of Puerto Calero is a short drive or you can take the taxi boat from the old town harbour in Puerto del Carmen to spend a relaxing afternoon watching the boats.
